OPERCAT is a disposable, self-adhesive sterile pocket that can be used to hold temporary and permanent catheters. It protects the patient from discomfort during insertion and removal of the catheter, ensures the patient’s comfort and ensures that the area of use is infection free.
It can be used for temporary, longer or permanent catheterization, during hemodialysis, surgery, oncohematology, organ transplants and when using stomach and small intestine feeding tube.
The adhesive surface is made of a flexible, high-porosity non-woven material with a perfect adhesive surface. The elongated tab covers the catheter outlet. The protective tabs on the adhesive strip facilitate easy insertion of the catheter under sterile conditions, keeping the catheter outlet open. The air-permeable, highly absorbent pocket ensures perfect cushioning of the catheter and prevents the entry of microorganisms. It protects and keeps the catheter sterile. Permeable, internally and externally coated bandage. Latex-free.
